FixInsight 2016.03 release

I’m happy to introduce the FixInsight 2016.03 release. It has been delayed several times, but finally it’s here.

What’s New

  • Introduced rule W529 (“Should be ‘raise’ instead of ‘raise object’?”)
  • Rule O802 now works in entire project scope
  • Added buttons ‘Save as Default’ and ‘Load Defaults’ to FixInsight Settings window
  • Improved parser

FixInsight & Parnassus Navigator

Today is the first day of winter, we are all looking forward for Christmas and New year. I would like to announce something we have prepared for fellow Delphi developers – FixInsight and Parnassus Navigator bundle.

Only in this December you can get two Delphi plugins for the price of one. In other words, you save $40.

Parnassus Navigator is the productivity tool that brings all parts of your code to your fingertips. Press Ctrl+G (G to go) and Navigator will show you a window with everything in your current unit. Start typing, and the results are filtered. Press Enter and bam! There you are, right at the place you need. Personally I am a big fan of this plugin. Now I don’t need to press CTRL+F and F3 F3 F3 F3… to navigate inside my code. It’s great!

FixInsight is the code quality tool. It performs static code analysis to help you find bugs early in the development process. FixInsight can find bugs in your code before your customers do. Code quality is very important.

These Delphi plugins save your time, you will get your job done quicker and will be able to spend more time with your friends and families :)

  • Support for suppressing a warning message on a particular line using a comment

The very first version of FixInsight has been released to public a year ago — October 6, 2014. During last 12 months it has been improved significantly. It would not be happened without all the support I got from Delphi community. Thank you :)
